📚 Certificate Education – Tamil Subjects

All subjects for certificate education are provided in a simple, easy and interesting way to learn using online multimedia facilities. The courses offered at Tamil Online Education Institute have been approved by the Department of School Education (DSE) Government Order (P) No. 254, dated 27.12.2024, as a course that enables Tamils ​​living in other states and foreign countries to learn Tamil online. We offer Tamil courses at the five levels mentioned below.

  • Level 1 – Agaram (equivalent to 1st & 2nd grade)

  • Level 2 – Igaram (equivalent to 3rd, 4th & 5th grade)

  • Level 3 – Ugaram (equivalent to 6th, 7th & 8th grade)

  • Level 4 – Zhagaram (equivalent to 9th & 10th grade)

  • Level 5 – Sigaram (equivalent to 11th & 12th grade)

🎓Level 1 – Agaram (equivalent to 1st & 2nd grade)

​This includes the following subjects: Introduction to letters, learning words, short series learning, writing practice, nursery rhymes, and moral stories.

🎓Level 2 – Igaram (equivalent to 3rd, 4th & 5th grade)

Vocabulary, Meaning, Sequence, and Grammar - The language components - listening, reading, speaking, and writing - have been designed as lessons in the following 20 topics to develop the skills of listening, reading, speaking, and writing. These lessons have been designed as a continuation of the basic lessons and as a prerequisite for higher level lessons.

Summary of Course Content:

  1. Vocabulary, Meaning, Sequence, Grammar

  2. Listening, Reading, Speaking, and Writing

  3. Lessons in 20 Topics

  4. Prerequisite for Higher Level

🎓Level 3 – Ugaram (equivalent to 6th, 7th & 8th grade)

At this level, the features of the Tamil language, Tamil lifestyle, tradition, culture, folk arts, famous Tamil scholars, etc. are included as subject content. These subjects are designed as a continuation of the Ikaram level subjects and as a prerequisite for the Zharam level subjects.

🎓Level 4 – Zhagaram (equivalent to 9th & 10th grade)

This textbook has been designed with the aim of teaching students the noble thoughts of Tamils, the superiority of relationships, and social responsibility. In addition, these lessons have been created to make it easy to learn grammar such as continuous types, superlatives/superlatives in the Tamil language, and as a continuation for advanced level lessons and a prerequisite for advanced level lessons.

🎓Level 5 – Sigaram (equivalent to 11th & 12th grade)

The grammatical and literary resources of the Tamil language are applicable to all times and places. The lessons have been developed for the peak level using the literary concepts, grammatical elements, etc. of such a proud Tamil language as the subject matter. The exercises have been included to encourage the creative abilities of the students and to encourage them to publish their works in the Tamil language.

👩‍🏫 Teacher Diploma Training

Candidates who wish to join the Teacher Training Diploma course should have passed at least 10+2 (or) Tamil Online Education Institute Upper Certificate Level 3 (or) Tamil Online Education Institute Upper Certificate Level (or) its equivalent. The minimum age limit for admission to this course is 17 years.

🎶 Traditional Pannisai Training

We are pleased to announce that a rare opportunity is being offered to Tamil music enthusiasts to learn the Thevaram and Thiruvasakam songs in the twelve Thirumurai as a traditional Pannisai training, with the understanding of the Thevaram Patikas along with Pannisai, training taught by qualified reciters, and simple online classes. This training will be conducted in two levels.

Basic level:

  1. Thevaram Patikas by the first three Samayakuravars

  2. The first three Thirupatikas

  3. General Patikas, Artupathikas, Special Patikas

  4. Panchapuraana songs

Advanced level:

  1. Paikas by the four Samayakuravars

  2. Special & Artupathikas

  3. Thiruvasagam

  4. Nalvar Muthi Patikas

  5. Panniru Thirumurai Parayanam

✔ You must be a member of Belgium Tamil Sangam to avail/join the above courses
✔ A new batch/class can be started once a minimum of 10 admissions are received
✔ Classes will be conducted online
✔ Curriculum syllabus, duration, examination, assessment and results will be conducted as per the norms set by TVA.
